Alesha Dixon’s career began in 2001 when the group Mis-Teeq, consisting of band members Su-Elise and Sabrina, and Zena (until she left) arrived on the scene. 2001 saw Mis-teeq leap into the charts at number 8 in the UK with their track ‘Why?’. Their first attempt at releasing this track didn’t do as well as it had deserved, entering the UK charts at number 58.
