Jennifer Metcalfe (born 1985 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.) is an English actress and mode She joined the cast of soap opera Hollyoaks in early 2006, playing feisty Mercedes Owen.
In 2007, she was nominated for ‘Sexiest Female’ at both the British Soap Awards and the Inside Soap Awards.She also had a short interview with teen-girl British magazine Mizz. Before she joined Hollyoaks she was doing a degree in health and fitness. She says she likes playing Mercedes because “she’s a bit feisty, loves dressing up and flirting and a lot of girls see a bit of themselves in her”. She also says people confuse her and fellow Bradfordian Kimberly Walsh (of Girls Aloud fame), often stating that Walsh has been seen acting in Hollyoaks.
