The life of a model is incredibly hectic. Frequent traveling, long hours and constant pressure are the norm in the industry. The competition is tight and only a few make it to the top. Through all this adversity, few would think a girl from a town in the Czech Republic would have a favorable chance of getting very far in the modeling world.
Not only did Karolina Kurkova rise above the rest, she did so before graduating from high school. Amazingly, to many who have adored her since her first North American appearances, Karolina Kurkova is still not even of legal drinking age in her new home, New York. She was forced to grow up very fast, and consequently, one can remove the spoiled modeling stigma and appreciate what this leggy blonde has experienced.
